“I’m running for State Representative to give back to the people who make our district the best place to call home. You deserve a fighting chance at a prosperous future, and I’m ready to take our most pressing issues to Frankfort.”

Growing Our Local Businesses

We help our local communities every time we support small businesses in our region. I’m dedicated to improving our business climate and strengthening the relationship between employers and job seekers. I’ve spent my entire career creating quality jobs and quite literally building communities. Small business growth is a key component of what makes a community thrive.

Pro-Business Policies and Workforce Development

When elected, I want to better help people earn a good living. For example, we can utilize and promote area tech centers as an option for those interested in learning a skilled trade. Apprenticeship programs are another option, where people could learn a trade while also earning wages. Ideas like these help our businesses as well as strengthen our workforce.

Supporting Our First Responders

We are blessed to have first responders who are dedicated to serving and protecting others. We must provide them the support and tools necessary to protect our local communities. Words will never express the gratitude I feel for those who risk their lives for the safety of others.

Pro-Life and Pro-Family Values

Growing up, I was taught that life is to be cherished and valued. We must protect the most vulnerable among us, including mothers who feel they have no other options.

Protecting our Second Amendment Rights

I believe all citizens of this great nation are afforded certain fundamental rights…let’s keep it that way. When elected, I will continue my lifelong support and fight for the second amendment right to bear arms.

Improving Education

I have grown up in a family of educators and education is near and dear to me. My mother is a retired school teacher. My wife is currently a middle school science teacher. We trust our educators with our children each week – they deserve proper support in return. I believe in taking common sense approaches to improving education.

Solutions for the Drug Epidemic

I am the current chairman of the AGC (Associated General Contractors) of Kentucky’s Opioid Initiative. This committee is tasked with educating our 600+ AGC member firms on the dangers of opioid abuse and we are taking steps to combat the issue.  Let’s work to find new ways to rehabilitate our friends who suffer from this disease, as well as put forth harsher penalties for dealers. Incarcerating those who suffer from addiction is not the way to go.
